Rest in Peace Judy
Michele and I made a quick trip to Iowa this weekend to attend her Aunt Judy's funeral. As with any family related gathering, I took lots of pictures.

Nick Landed His First Job
There is a new Hy-Vee store being built in town, and just today, our son Nick was hired to work there. Michele and I are so proud.

Holiday Break is Over
Been an interesting month for our son Alex.
He came home from Missouri State for the holiday break, and on his first night back, he and his friends were the victims of an armed robbery. Then about midway through the break, he found himself saying goodbye to one of his closest friends who was leaving for the Air Force. And now it's time to make the six hour trek back to school, which starts a new semester on Monday.
Already looking forward to having him back in the spring.

First Big Snow of the Year
This is what greeted me when I opened my garage door this morning:
We received about 5 inches overnight, and if the weather forecast for tomorrow is correct, the high won't reach zero degrees. Already hoping for spring.
