5th Grade Graduation

Prairieland held a 5th grade recognition night tonight, to recognize the 5th graders who are now moving on to middle school. We watched as each student received a certificate of completion and appreciation, followed by a 20 minute photo montage of our children's experiences while at Prairieland. There weren't many dry eyes in the audience, it was a bittersweet night for all of us.

Prairieland Nanobots

This is my latest video creation. It is a video/photo montage that follows the journey of the Prairieland Nanobots Robotics team from their humble beginnings in the hallways of their school, to the Regional and State competitions. This team was without a doubt, bad to the bone.

Prairieland Nanobots Moving on to State!

The Nanobots finished 10th overall out of 35 teams at the regional tournament, qualifying them to move on to the State Championship in January. They also had a 3rd place finish for Robot design which provided them with a certificate to present to their school. Most importantly though, they had lots of fun.

Nanobots Hard at Work

The Prairieland Nanobots continue to work hard at mastering the missions in this years First Lego League challenge.

All work and no play makes Jack... shhhhhh, don't tell anybody about the race through the halls!

Well, it was mostly work. The kids seem to have mastered the number one rule layed out by Coach Dave, "have fun".
