This is Sam doing what she does best. I think all of the hair left from previous naps keeps her nice and warm.

Thanksgiving Snowstorm

In November of 2004, on the Friday before Thanksgiving break, there was a good sized snow storm, bigger than we normally get. We welcomed the snow, but then we noticed our cat was missing...




We posted signs like this all over the neighborhood...

Four days later, a man knocked on our door with Sam in his arms. She had fallen into a window well at the back of his house and had been trapped. We were so relieved to have her back home.

It recently occurred to me that I had not posted any pictures of our cats on here, and so I thought I would introduce them to the world.

Here for the very first time anywhere, is our cat Sam...

They get along pretty well, but it wasn't always that way, if you get my drift. But we are one big happy family now.
