Illinois State vs Valparaiso

Yesterday's highlight was college football at Hancock stadium, where Illinois State obliterated the Valparaiso Crusaders. There was a crusade alright, but the Crusaders were on the receiving end of it.

Here are just a few of the highlights that began with some tailgating in the RedBird Tent Zone:

Finally had an opportunity to look inside the newly renovated ISU stadium this past Saturday during the pre-game tailgate.

The place looks very nice. Can't wait to see the Redbirds take on South Dakota next weekend.

Today, Illinois State University played the University of South Dakota. This is an interesting match up, as I can claim both as my Alma Maters. We didn't go inside to watch the game, but we did do some tailgating. Below are a few shots I took from the Redbird Tent Zone, just North of Hancock Stadium:

ISU Baseball

Today we attended an ISU Redbird baseball game, courtesy of Alex for getting straight A's this last semester. All of the straight A students were recognized at the game. When we left during the 7th inning, ISU was on top 1 to 0 over the Evansville Purple Aces.
